Maya Sheikh joined the TC2 team in the summer of 2023 as a Mobility Planner & Communications Specialist. She is experienced in political communications, strategic development, transportation planning, public engagement, and graphic design. Maya’s curiosity, positive attitude, and work ethic help her advance projects and empower communities to make meaningful changes and address challenges.

• Controversially prefers rice and lentils (daal) over biryani when visiting Pakistan
• Enjoys reading, bouldering, biking, yoga, and reality television
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology / Loyola University Chicago
• Dual Masters in Urban and Regional Planning and Public Health / UMN Twin Cities
