  • Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Director (Traffic Engineering)

    Our team is looking for someone to help manage and grow our expanding traffic engineering services. The individual will support our team and take the lead on various traffic engineering and transportation planning activities, while also expanding TC2’s services in complex traffic simulation, signal operations/implementation, and/or signal design.  In this role, you’ll have the support and guidance needed to help expand TC2’s services, while you help guide and support existing staff on key projects and plans. You’ll lead projects or tasks associated with corridor studies, multimodal transportation plans, traffic studies, intersection control evaluations, safety, and other transportation related functions.  We’re seeking an individual interested in contributing to the growth of the company by developing new tools, resources, and processes while collaborating with clients, staff, and the public.  We truly believe that as we grow, you grow!     Roles

    o Collaborate with TC2 leadership to strategically expand our traffic engineering services

    o Manage and develop staff and technical work for complex transportation projects or studies

    o Oversee and conduct technical analysis and documentation

    o Build and enhance client relationships


    Desired Qualifications 

    o Five years or more of relevant engineering or planning experience

    o Undergraduate or graduate degree in related engineering field 

    o PE certification (or the ability to obtain within 12-months of employment) a plus

    o RSP and PTOE certifications are a plus

    o Ability to lead traffic engineering tasks and manage projects or studies

    o Strong analytical skills and proven technical writing ability

    o Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills a huge bonus 😉 

    o Proficiency in traffic engineering software (Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, Corsim, CUBE)

    o Experience with safety evaluations and processes 

    o AutoCAD or MicroStation design capabilities a plus (but not at all necessary)

    o Quick and enthusiastic learner 

    o Detail-orientated team player with a desire to contribute at all levels of the company

    o Ability to work independently and as a team

    o Interest in growing along with a vibrant, growing company with a willingness to take chances and achieve significant outcomes

  • Public Engagement Specialist or Community/Urban Planner

    Our team is looking for a communications/public engagement specialist or community/urban planner that is motivated by community collaboration and equipped with strong technical communication skills. This person will work with other passionate professionals that craft creative engagement and community connection plans every day. Your work will include contributions to a variety of transportation related studies, planning efforts, and infrastructure projects. Tasks may include developing, project materials, website and survey content, public participation plan development/execution, managing project communications, facilitating community meetings, and acting as a liaison for businesses, residents, and other major stakeholders. As your interests align, additional work may also include, street and public space conceptual design, street plan-set review, GIS analysis and mapping, and project/proposal narrative writing. . We’re seeking an individual interested in contributing to the growth of the company by developing new tools, resources, and processes while collaborating with clients, staff, and the public.  As we grow, you grow – we want someone that wants to engage and help positively shape communities!


    Desired Qualifications & Skills


    o Two plus years of professional experience engaging communities or broad stakeholder involvement, with optional background in community planning or urban planning. 

    o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    o Ability to develop and execute strategic engagement plans and materials

    o Knowledge and experience using engagement platforms and web content

    o Ability to think creatively

    o Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills

    o Understanding of social media related to stakeholder engagement

    o Project and task management skills

    o Sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines

    o Ability to work independently and as a team

    o Quick and enthusiastic learner

    o Detail-orientated team player with a desire to contribute at all levels of the company
