  • Transportation/Community Planner, Lead Planner

    Our team is looking for an early- or mid-career Planner to join us and support company growth through a variety of planning tasks.  Projects range from comprehensive plans, transportation plans, subarea studies, parking studies, community engagement, and other planning efforts. This individual will contribute across the company while supporting impactful and meaningful projects that help shape communities.

     

    We are a collaborative team, aligning our individual experiences and skills to achieve project success with our clients. We’re seeking someone who is excited to contribute to the growth of the company by developing new tools, systems, and processes while working closely with clients, staff, and the public. As we grow, you grow! 


    Desired Qualifications & Skills: 

    • 2 to 6+ years of planning experience
    • Educational background in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Public Policy, or related field
    • Proficiency in ArcGIS, the Microsoft Suite, and the Adobe Creative Suite
    • Passion for meaningful work that values diverse perspectives, equity, and inclusion
    • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate initiative, with a willingness to learn from challenges
    • Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, and reliable with great follow-through
    • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to develop clear, well-documented technical information, maps, graphics, drawings, and reports
    • Experience supporting long-range planning efforts (comprehensive plans and/or transportation plans), corridor studies, and/or small-area plans
    • Desire to engage directly with residents, stakeholders, and community organizations through workshops, open houses, interviews, focus groups, and other public engagement activities
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must

    Benefits:

    • Competitive salary with bonus opportunity; anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000 per year
